Update 20/10/15 14:15 – the upgrade is progressing well, but the overall upgrade will run into a third day tomorrow.
Over the next 2 days we will be upgrading our switches in Pulsant 1. Most of this will be seamless, but various services are liable to very short outages of a few seconds as cables are moved.

We have been notified that our backup link to Amsterdam has had maintenance scheduled to take place on Wednesday 27/05/15 between 00:00 and 04:00 with a maximum duration of 30 minutes. If the maintenance should not be completed within the 4 hour slot, a backup maintenance window has been scheduled for Thursday 28/05/15 between 00:00 and 04:00 with a maximum duration of 30 minutes.

This maintenance should not have any affect on customer lines as the main link will be running. However, we advise customers to be aware that during the maintenance window this is an at risk period.

Update: This maintenance has now been completed.

Next Wednesday 03/02/15 we will be upgrading a switch cluster in our AMS datacentre to provide an increase in capacity. All public facing machines supplied by this switch are dual ported, so no services should be affected, apart possibly from outages of a few seconds as ARP caches time out.

The window for this work is 08:00 to 13:00 UK time; the actual period of affected resilience is expected to be 15 minutes.
