We apologise to customers who were effected by an outage of our core switches in Pulsant 1 at around 15:15.

We were doing some house keeping of cables and when we replaced a cable of the resilient interconnect ring the switches locked up and we rebooted them to bring them back on-line.

This had 2 outages of 2 minutes each.

This knocked out all connectivity in Pulsant1.

This was an unusual reaction for the switches which we did not expect.

All wiring house keeping is up to date now so there will be no more issue due to this in the foreseeable future.
